Lagos Ranked 8th Most Expensive City In Africa, 47th In The World By
Lagos State has been ranked the 8th most expensive city in Africa and the 47th in the World in a 2018 global cost of living survey by mercer.
The Survey carried out by Mercer, the world’s largest human resource consulting firm, found that African, Asian, and European cities dominated the 2017 list of
most expensive locations for working abroad.
According to the survey, the capital city of Angola, Luanda, is the mist expensive city to live in Africa and sixth in the world.
The survey attributed cost of goods and security as factors that determined the cost of living in Luanda.
